What is the difference between users on the Project Team and users with project access?

Users on the Project Team are actively working on the project, while users with project access simply have permission to view it.

Not every user connected to a project is actually working on it, and the Project Team tab makes that distinction clear by separating the two groups.

Users on the Project Team

These are the users actively managing or working on the project, and they appear at the top of the Project Team tab so it's always clear who's responsible for what.

  • Actively managing or working on the project
  • Appear at the top of the Project Team tab
  • Can be assigned an optional Project Team Role
Users with Project Access

These are users who may have permission to view the project through their workspace settings but aren't necessarily involved in the day-to-day work, and they're listed separately below the active team for reference.

  • Have permission to view the project through their workspace settings
  • Are not necessarily involved in the day-to-day work
  • Listed separately below the active team for reference

Both groups are visible on the Project Team tab, so you always know who has access to a project versus who is actually running it.
