Dave is the visionary who started it all. With over 15 years in the trenches, he has experienced everything from the excitement of the first flip to the stress of a renovation gone over budget. He built the original tools to solve his own problems, and he continues to lead the product vision to ensure it solves yours.
John Kary

John is the engine that ensures FlipperForce is built to last. While other apps are rushed to market, John focuses on data integrity, high-level security, and a scalable architecture. He ensures that whether you have 2 projects or 2,000, the platform remains fast, secure, and reliable.

Our Journey: 15 Years in the Trenches

2010

Dave buys and rehabs his first primary residence which was a dated 1950s home that needed a new kitchen, bathrooms & finishes throughout.

He quickly develops a love-hate relationship for renovating houses!

2011

Dave starts flipping houses part-time and buys his first rehab property to flip which was a REO bank foreclosure. The property was a 1,924sf, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property that needed extensive repairs to the exterior and interior of the property.

2013

Dave creates a spreadsheet to help him analyze deals, estimate rehab costs & manage his rehab projects which eventually evolves in to the House Flipping Spreadsheet.

2018

Dave takes the success from the House Flipping Spreadsheet and invests it into a new web-based platform, FlipperForce.

2020

After over a year of development, testing and several iterations on tools and features we proudly launched out of Beta!

Today, FlipperForce is built for scale. From solo flippers to large teams managing portfolios of 2,000+ projects, we provide the stability and human oversight that modern real estate businesses require.

Dave is a real estate investor in Kansas City, MO and the founder of FlipperForce.com.

I am Dave Robertson, the founder and creator of FlipperForce.

I started flipping houses back in 2010 and I quickly realized that flipping houses is not as easy as it looks on TV.

Between finding deals, managing contractors, and tracking the bookkeeping, it was a lot to manage, especially while working a full-time job.

Over time, I started building tools to help me organize my flips and streamline my processes. The first tool I built was a simple spreadsheet with a repair cost estimator and a deal analyzer.

After a few years of development, I had built one of the most elaborate spreadsheets you have ever seen. In 2013, I decided to share it with the world as the House Flipping Spreadsheet.

The House Flipping Spreadsheet was a hit with thousands of investors throughout the country and across six continents. But as the industry grew, I realized that spreadsheets have their limitations.

In 2018, we made the decision to reinvest our success into a new web-based solution called FlipperForce. We wanted to build a better product and a more scalable business solution for professional investors.

Today, our software is used by thousands of house flippers and real estate teams to manage their businesses from start to finish. We are constantly collaborating with our users to improve the platform and meet the needs of large-scale investors.
