What are Project Stages, how do I update them, and why are they important?

Project Stages categorize your workflow into Lead, Active, and Portfolio pipelines to help you visualize your progress. To update a stage, simply click the workflow chart on the Project Overview page to organize projects and keep your team aligned.
Project Stages in FlipperForce are designed to help you organize and track your projects through their entire lifecycle, from initial lead to completed portfolio asset.
What are Stages?
Stages represent the high-level progress of your projects. They categorize your projects into:
Lead Pipeline: For potential deals you're actively pursuing.
Active Project Pipeline: For projects currently under contract and in progress.
Portfolio: For completed projects or properties converted to rentals.
Why are Stages Important?
Using Stages allows you to:
Visualize your entire project pipeline at a glance.
Keep your team aligned on the status of each project.
Easily filter and sort projects based on their current phase.
Keep projects organized in the correct pipeline dashboards.
Changing the Project Stage
You can change the Project Stage direclty on the Project Overview page by clicking anywhere on the Stage workflow chart.
A window will open for you to edit the Project Stage.
Stage Change Notifications:
Whenever a Project Stage is updated, all team members will receive a notification in their FlipperForce notification inbox and via email. This ensures everyone stays informed about project progress.
