Here are some easy and cheap tips that can help prevecnt your pipes from freezing and save you potential thousands of dollars in damage from broken pipes and water damage:

1. Disconnect your garden hose and put on a faucet guard
2. Keep your heat ON
3. Open vanity and cabinet doors to heat cold pipes
4. Leave faucets open to drip
5. Wrap pipes with heat tape or extra insulation to keep the pipes warm
