Faster, More Reliable Photo and Receipt Uploads in the Mobile App

We rebuilt how the FlipperForce mobile app uploads photos and receipts on both iOS and Android. Uploads are now significantly faster and more reliable, and a new My Recent Uploads inbox makes large uploads easier to manage.

Faster, More Reliable Uploads

Uploading photos and receipts is now significantly faster. A rebuilt upload process gets your progress photos and receipts processed and into FlipperForce much more quickly, so you spend less time waiting on your phone at the job site.

Uploads are also more reliable. If an item fails partway through a batch, the app keeps track of it so you can retry just that item instead of starting the whole batch over.

My Recent Uploads Inbox

My Recent Uploads is a new inbox for managing your photo and receipt uploads. Tap the cloud upload icon at the top of the Projects screen to see every recent batch, including the project, time, item count, and where it went.

• ‍Check progress while backgrounded. Start a large upload, switch to another app, and come back anytime to see what's finished and what's still in progress.
• ‍Manage multiple batches. Start uploads for different projects and they run at the same time. Track each one from the inbox.
• ‍Retry failed items. Expand any failed item to see what went wrong and retry it right from the inbox.

How You Could Use This

• ‍End-of-day photo dumps - Upload 100 progress photos, lock your phone, and head to the next property. Check My Recent Uploads later to confirm everything landed.
• ‍Multiple job sites in one day - Start an upload at your first property, then another at your second. Both run at the same time.
• ‍Spotty signal - If a few photos fail on a weak connection, retry just those items once you're back on Wi-Fi.

No setup required. If automatic app updates are turned on, you'll get this on its own. Otherwise, update FlipperForce Field from the App Store or Google Play.
