We shipped two infrastructure updates over the past few weeks. Both target the same thing: how fast pages load and how consistently they do it.
We upgraded the platform to a modern connection protocol that lets your browser request multiple pieces of data at the same time instead of one after another. The Accounting tools benefit the most here. Budget vs Actuals, the Expense Tracker, the Income Tracker, and Receipts each pull roughly eight separate sets of data when they open. Those requests now run in parallel rather than queuing up behind each other.
A background cleanup process on our servers had grown much larger than intended. Every so often it would trigger mid-request and hang the page for up to 15 seconds. It was unpredictable, which made it easy to mistake for a slow connection.
Nothing to update on your end. Both fixes are already live.
