The Public API now supports your Material Catalog. You can read, create, update, and delete materials in your workspace programmatically, which means your catalog no longer has to be built or maintained by hand.
If you have years of buying history sitting in a supplier account, that history is a materials list you already paid for. We tested this over the weekend by pulling a Home Depot purchase history export and loading over 200 items into a catalog in one pass. Titles, prices, SKUs, and supplier, product images all imported in minutes. Building that catalog manually would have taken hours.
The same approach works for a materials spreadsheet you have been keeping outside FlipperForce.
Material prices move. A catalog built six months ago is quoting six-month-old numbers into your estimates.
You can now hand your API key to an AI agent like Claude or ChatGPT and have it read every material in your catalog, look up current pricing, and write the updated prices back. Your catalog refreshes without you opening a single product page.
Request an API key at Workspace Settings, Integrations. Full documentation is at tools.flipperforce.com/docs/api.
