Your rehab projects are never going to go exactly according to plan.  There will be delays, setbacks & unforeseen issues that will impact your schedule start dates & completion dates.

Before, you had to manually update all of your schedule tasks every time something changed on your schedule (time consuming!)

Now, with our new Autoscheduling features, our Scheduler automatically updates all of your tasks and dependencies whenever something in your schedule inevitably changes!

Autoscheduling can save a significant amount of time if and when you need to make changes to your schedule durations or start dates, so make sure you turn on autoscheduling if you want your dependences to automatically update on your project schedules.

Autoscheduling is a scheduling feature that automatically updates your project schedules when you change the start date or duration of a task that has dependencies down line on the project schedule.

So for example, let’s imagine that demolition takes 5 days instead of 3 days like initially planned.  

Without autoscheduling we would have to manually drag and shift all of the dependencies on the schedule 2 days back,

But if we turn on autoscheduling, the schedule automatically shifts all of the dependencies back 2 days for us, so we don’t have to waste time manually shifting days backwards!  
So Auotoscheduling can save a significant amount of time if and when you need to make changes to your schedule durations or start dates, so make sure you turn on autoscheduling if you want your dependences to automatically update on your project schedules.
