An AI agent is an assistant like Claude connected to your FlipperForce account through the Public API. It can read your project data and, with your approval, create and update records.
An AI agent is an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, connected to your FlipperForce account through the Public API. Once it is connected, you can ask for work in plain language instead of clicking through the app.
What it can read
- Projects across all of your workspaces
- Expense transactions and line items, filtered by date range, vendor, account, category or class
- Income records
- Receipts
- Companies and contacts, including insurance expiration dates and 1099 eligibility
- Materials
- Project updates and photos
- Your workspace activity log
What it can change
An agent using your API key can create and update records the same way you can in the app. That includes creating projects, logging expenses and income, adding vendors, uploading receipts and posting project updates. A well-written prompt shows you what it plans to do and waits for your approval before saving anything.
What it cannot do
- Read your Deal Analysis or Repair Estimator data, so it cannot compare your estimate to your actuals
- Read or change your Scheduler or Gantt chart
- Create new expense categories. Those come from loading a Repair Estimator template in the app
- Connect to your bank. An expense account in FlipperForce is a label for tracking, not a bank connection
