Income Tracker

Learn the Basics of Managing Your Budgets and Tracking Your Project Expenses.

FlipperForce Field is now available!

How it Works

The Income Tracker allows you to log all revenue associated with a project — including the final sale proceeds, earnest money deposits, rental income, and any other income items — giving you a complete picture of the revenue side of your deal.

What it does

The Income Tracker records income transactions at the project level, categorized by income type. It works in tandem with the Expense Tracker and Final Profit Statement to give you a complete, accurate project P&L at the conclusion of every deal.

How to use it

Navigate to the Income Tracker within any project's Accounting section. Add income entries by selecting the date, category (sale proceeds, rental income, security deposit, etc.), and amount. All income entries flow directly into your Final Profit Statement calculations.

Why it matters

Tracking only expenses gives you an incomplete picture of your project's financial performance. The Income Tracker closes the loop by capturing every dollar of revenue — ensuring your Final Profit Statement is accurate, your tax records are complete, and your actual returns are clearly documented for investor reporting and future deal benchmarking.
