Hey Flippers,
The next time you login you should see our new update to the Project Scheduler which re-built the user interface of our Project Scheduler, and added in new functionality for Auto Scheduling, Critical Path, Milestones, Hiding Weekends & Print to PDF!
Next we will be adding Schedule Templating which will include Schedule Starter Templates and allow you to save your own templates!
Here's a quick preview of the new Scheduler functionality:
Autoscheduling is a new powerful feature that automatically updates Successor Dependencies when a predecessor is updated or changed on the timeline.
So if demolition takes 5 days instead of 3 days, rough framing will automatically shift back 2 days, as well as rough plumbing, rough electrical and all other schedule items that are down-line on the schedule!
This saves you time manually updating all of your schedule items if/when something inevitably doesn't go according to plan.
Critical path is a new feature that allows you to highlight the critical schedule items that will impact the completion date of your schedule. If any of the items on the critical path are delayed your completion date will be delayed, so identifying the critical path helps you keep a close eye on those important schedule items!
Project Milestones are tasks with zero duration that identify important achievements on a project. Milestones can be used to identify important tasks such as Possession Dates, Inspection Dates, Listing Dates, etc.
If your crews and workers don't work the weekends, you can hide the weekends from your Schedule
Now you can print your Project Schedules to a PDF document so you can share your Schedule with your Contractors or put a copy of the Schedule on the jobsite so all Contractors are on the same page.
