It's time to get rid of that old shoe box you are using to store all of your receipts!
If you are like me you probably despise the accounting and bookkeeping process...but in order to keep tidy books for Uncle Sam you need to have a system in place to keep your expenses and receipts organized to calculate your project profitability.
We've been pushing up a bunch of updates to our Expense Tracker the last couple of weeks that makes your project bookkeeping less painful and dare I say kinda fun (I guess)...
We added in a new Invoice # column which you can use to help you organize all of your expenses by a specific receipt # or invoice #. Soon we will be launching a new Invoice Report which will organize all of your expenses by Invoice # so you can match your invoice/receipt balances with your expenses in your Expense Tracker.
We also added in a new tax column where so you can breakdown your invoices and receipt sales taxes.
We also injected new sorting functionality so you can quickly sort every single column on the Expense Tracker:
You can also filter data to see specific Accounts, Vendors or Categories
Now you can search the Expense Tracker to help you find expenses! You can search the Expense Tracker by any column data!
Now you can easily copy expenses to your Clipboard to paste, or directly export your Expenses to a CSV spreadsheet file.
On the average house flip you might have a couple hundred expenses items loaded to your Expense Tracker which caused the page to load fairly slowly. Our new pagination functionality only shows the latest 25 entries, which significantly improves page load speeds!
If you want to see more entries, simply change the # of entries to 25, 50 or 100 entries shown.
