We are currently working through a big pile of miscellaneous enhancements to improve the user experience of our platform. Here are few updates we just pushed up to the platform.
The main overall Projects Dashboard which has the listings of your active projects was freshened up with some UI changes and new functionality.
We added in a new 'project image' column so you can easily visually identify the project.
We also moved the 'Add New Project' button to the bottom of the screen in the floating footer so it's easier to find.
You will also notice you can now Duplicate Projects & Delete Projects directly from the Projects Dashboard.
Speaking of project duplication, did you see we added project duplication?!?!
Project duplication can be a 'flipping amazing' time saver if you are wanting to completely duplicate a project!
With the new project duplication, you can create a 'Master Template' project that has all of your common analysis settings, estimate data & tasks pre-populated to the project. Once you have your 'master template' setup your can use the project duplication functionality to instantaneously generate a project that has all of your project settings saved with the project.
Another valuable use of the new project duplication functionality is to run multiple analysis scenarios. So for example, you could run a baseline flip analysis for a property, then duplicate the project and run a 'worst case scenario' or a 'best case scenario' option without needing to completely re-enter all of the property data and information!
We also made a few minor changes to the Property Details Page.
We added in a new 'Street View' option which can be used to virtually tour the neighborhood around your property.
We also tweaked the functionality for changing images so you can easily change your main property image for the property using your existing collection of uploaded photos or by uploading a new photo.
Previously when you clicked the Delete Project button there was no warning prompt preventing an accidental deletion of your projects. 😱
Now when you click the Delete project button you are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the project before the project is permanently deleted.
