Roll up total spend across every project

Ask what you have spent across your whole portfolio, broken down however you need it.
The Problem

Every project shows you its own numbers. Nothing shows you all of them at once.

So the question every investor eventually asks, what am I actually spending across my portfolio and where is it going, becomes a manual export from each project into a spreadsheet you rebuild every quarter and never quite trust.

How it Works

Your assistant pulls the expense line items from each project in scope and adds them up the way you asked, whether that is by category across the whole portfolio, by vendor, by month, or by project.

Because it is reading line item detail rather than project summaries, it can answer questions no single screen shows: what roofing has cost you across eleven flips, or which trade partner you have paid the most this year.

What it will not do: this automation is read only. It reports numbers and changes nothing.

Please total my FlipperForce spend across [PROJECT NAMES, or say: my active projects].

For each project, pull the expense line items, then give me:

1. Total spend per project, sorted highest first

2. Total spend by category across all of them combined

3. Total spend by vendor across all of them combined

4. The portfolio total

Note anything that looks unreliable, such as projects with no expenses recorded or large amounts sitting in a generic category, so I know how much to trust the numbers. Change nothing.

There is currently no workspace level expense endpoint, so this automation reads one project at a time. A full portfolio sweep means one request per project, which is fine at a few dozen projects and slow at several hundred. Scope it to what you actually need.
