Yes. When you post a Project Update, anyone assigned to that project is notified two ways:

1. Email — a notification is sent to their email address on file.
2. In-app — a notification appears in the Notifications area of the platform.

Notifications go to users assigned to the project the update was posted to, not to everyone in your workspace. This keeps the volume manageable when you're running several renovations at once.

Turning notifications off

Each user controls which emails they receive in Account Settings → Notification Preferences. Changes take effect immediately and apply across all devices.
