Managing Your Custom Task Templates

Our Task Manager allows you to build out your own custom task checklists with your own custom tasks, descriptions, notes & priorities  that you can save as a Template and reuse on all of your projects so you don’t have to recreate the wheel.

In our previous video we discussed how you can save your own custom task checklists and now in this video we are going to show you how you can manage, edit or delete your existing custom saved templates that you have saved in your company workspace.

To manage your existing custom templates that you have saved in your workspace, first you’ll need to click add the add new task templates button which will take you to the Templates page where you will find Flipper Force’s pre-built task templates and if you click the Custom Templates tab at the top where you will find your Custom Checklist Templates you’ve saved in your company workspace.

As you can see, I have 3 custom task checklists saved in my account.  

We have a couple of options to manage our existing templates.  The first option is to simply delete the template from your account, so if you want to get rid of an existing task template you have saved in your account you can simply click the delete button to delete template.

If you want to edit the template name or description you can click the Task Name or the Learn more button which open a preview window to review the template

From there, you will find an edit template button in the upper right corner which will allow you to edit the template name or edit the template description.

As of right now you cannot edit the actual tasks saved to the template, but I imagine we will be adding that functionality in the very near future.
